Dodmoor House is a romantic converted barn wedding venue in Northamptonshire. Our award winning venue is exclusively yours for your wedding day, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere for you and your guests. 

We pride ourselves on helping you create your perfect wedding by doing things your way, with the flexibility to book your choice of suppliers.

We are a family-run wedding venue in Northamptonshire and passionately believe in giving your wedding the personal touch it deserves. Exclusive use of the barns is always guaranteed, and we can provide you with an extensive list of local suppliers to contact if you choose. Alternatively, we offer the flexibility of sourcing all of your own suppliers if you wish (including caterers), and we would be happy to offer site visits to discuss their plans in more detail.

We offer as much help as you want throughout the planning of your day, and your personal wedding coordinator will hold an in-depth planning meeting with you two months before the wedding to go through everything in detail, so that nothing is left to chance on the big day. We also hold a number of Open Events throughout the year, giving you the chance to chat about ideas with us, meet potential suppliers and show your venue off to your family and friends!

The barns at Dodmoor House date back just over 400 years, are Grade II listed and were stylishly converted by Mark and Louise Bradley in a two year renovation project. The wedding venue opened to the public in 2006 and now hosts more than 100 weddings per year, but our team of wedding coordinators ensure that each wedding is given the personal touch it deserves!

Dodmoor House is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, enabling you to host your wedding at exactly the same venue as the reception and evening party, and is also the perfect place to host your celebrations after a church wedding.

​We can cater for up to 90-96 guests for a civil ceremony in the Courtyard arn and a seated wedding breakfast in the Catesby Barn, and have the capacity for 180 guests for the evening celebrations.

Delapre Abbey

Turn the beautiful Grade II* listed Delapré Abbey into yours for the day. Whether you’re planning an elaborate celebration or something intimate, we can provide a bespoke service from ceremony, breakfast, through to evening reception.

Whether you want an outdoor wedding in our flower-filled Walled Garden, an intimate ceremony in our country estate, a marquee on our lawns – or a little of everything – Delapré Abbey is the perfect venue for your big day.

Complete with painted ceilings and rolling parkland views, Delapré Abbey is a stunning Grade II listed house nestled in 550 acres of green space on the edge of Northampton, in the heart of the UK.

We have several stunning spaces to choose from, including the historic splendour of our Library, which offers stunning views of the Abbey’s grounds and is a popular choice for ceremonies.

You can also choose romance of our Salon, Drawing Room or grand Dining Room and enjoy everything in one place, from your ceremony and breakfast, right through to an evening reception complete with a mouth-watering menu courtesy of our award-winning catering team and head chef.
